Discounts

A 10% discount is available in either of the following cases:*

Early booking discount: 10%

This discount applies to bookings made at least seven days before the activity, regardless of the number of participants.

Group booking discount (eight or more people): 10%

This discount applies to groups of at least eight participants, regardless of how far in advance the walk is booked.

Cancellations
  • The provider may cancel the activity due to force majeure, including adverse weather, official weather warnings, a route damaged by landslides or washouts, an order issued by the authorities, deaths, illness or other circumstances beyond reasonable understanding. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund of the amount paid for their booking. In the case of weather conditions, the risk of high temperatures or heavy rainfall may warrant cancelling the activity. Customers will be offered a full refund before the activity begins.

Customer rights
  • Customers may cancel their booking and receive a full refund up to four hours before the activity begins. If the customer cancels within the final hour before the walk begins, they will not be entitled to any refund.

    To cancel an activity, customers must send an email to senderismolapalma@gmail.com, including the following details to allow the request to be processed promptly:

    • Name of the activity
    • Date and start time
    • First and last names of the person or people who made the booking
    • Reason for cancellation

    The time of the request will be recorded as the time the email is sent.

    The request will be answered and resolved within 48 hours of the start of the activity.

    Official complaint forms are available from the service provider for any customer wishing to submit a complaint.

    Customers may ask questions about any aspect of the activity and request information before, during and after it. They may actively participate, provided they do not disturb other participants.

    Customers will receive guidance appropriate to the activity and the surroundings. They will be informed about any difficulties and the precautions needed to follow the route safely. They may also ask about matters not covered in the descriptions of the activities or walks.

Customer responsibilities
  • Customers must read all the information relating to the activity so that they can make as informed a booking decision as possible. Customers booking this type of service often overlook the details and requirements, despite their importance for taking part. This can mean overlooking matters that may affect their health and physical safety, as well as their expectations.

  • Customers must follow the instructions of the guide or activity leader, who is responsible for ensuring that the environment in which the walk takes place is respected and protected. Customers must also keep to the moderate-to-slow walking pace set by the guide so that the group can be led safely, appropriately and fairly.

  • Customers must participate as part of the group and should not expect different treatment from other participants.

  • Customers must show consideration for fellow participants, particularly when others encounter difficulties along the route.

Prohibitions
  • Collecting plant, animal or geological specimens from the area in which the activity takes place is strictly prohibited.

  • Offending or disturbing other participants on grounds such as gender, sexual orientation, beliefs or any other grounds is strictly prohibited.

  • Picking fruit from trees or taking any other privately owned property from agricultural land, livestock holdings or other plots alongside the route is prohibited.
