Let’s Discover Our Natural and Cultural Heritage!

Senderismo La Palma aims to bring this combination of physical activity and learning to the people of La Palma, particularly community groups, associations, clubs, schools and other organisations. Our walks explore the island’s landscapes and help participants understand their natural and cultural features.

Taking a fresh look at familiar surroundings through their natural and cultural heritage helps local residents understand, appreciate, protect and share knowledge of these places. Learning more about what we have already seen with our own eyes allows us to view it from a completely different perspective.

Each season, Senderismo La Palma will offer an interpretive guided walk for island residents at a lower price than the usual tourist rates. Pricing will take into account transport, the number of guides and any other costs involved in organising the activity, with the aim of making it more affordable.
